Crystal Meadows

There isn't really much movement around you now since you've scared the young brown mare off. Annoyed, you start digging around in the surrounding brush for any sort of portal or tunnel you can take to get out of the abandoned meadow. During your search, you come face to face with a large equine head. You AHHH and fall backwards on your bum but the equine just blinks at you in a benign sort of manner.

"I didn't know I was so frightening," the mare comments, pushing her head further into the brush so she can see you better. "If you think I'm scary, just wait 'til you meet Myari."
She chuckles some, then angles her head away from you and works her ears back and forth.
"Ah...here he comes now."
Indeed, a huge black and white stallion with multi-colored wings gallopes into view about 50 yards from where you are sitting. His horn glimmers in the fading sun, his hide glows with health. At first, you don't think he notices you or the mare, but you're soon mistaken because Myari now turns in your direction and canters towards you.

The stallion slows as he nears you, eyeing you with a very authorative manner.
"Agae, this traveler has not harmed you has it?" he says in a low, threatening tone as he eyes you. Agae shakes her head and smirks.
"I think I've hurt it worse than it's hurt me, my dear," she says. The stallion snorts loudly and jabs his head towards you, the pointed horn in his head aimed for your throat.
"That had better be true."
While you are being threatened with your life, another stallion has joined in. This one is a brown and white paint. You can tell this stallion does not approve of Myari's handling of you.

You haven't moved much since Myari has approached, so soon the winged stallion relaxes a little and raises his head away from you. The brown and white paint stallion also relaxes, then steps forward.
"You must understand why Myari is so tense...you have entered his Band's territory. It might be in your best interest to move along. I only passed by and heard the shouts...but I'm not really welcome in this land either."
The larger black and white crystal glowers at both you and the thinner stallion, shuffling and stamping his hooves. The brown and white stallion tosses his head, motioning you to follow.
