You step through the door into a glass-encased aviary where you can hear yelps and chirps of all kinds coming from trees and vines that climb the all of the enclosure. Immediately, two Hanryos hop down from branch to branch to inspect the odd creature in their home.
The first is a steel grey female bearing a wing tag marked "Singular Sensation." She chirps, flicks her curly tail, then spreads her wings in display. You reach up to touch the female but she squawks and trys to peck your finger. You blink in surprise, then shrug.
The second just stares at you, fanning her white tiger striped wings slowly. Her body has raw looking scars that look relatively fresh. You decide not to try to touch this beauty. The tiger female bears the wing tag "Warring Heart" and you decide that name is well chosen.
Soon the two tire of your presence so they disappear back into the trees.
