You fall from the portal into a pile of gravel, hurting your rear-end quite a bit from the fall. You are rewarded for the trip though because a pair of small draconic creatures appear and skim the air above your head, chittering to each other.
They are soon joined by a third...which looks slightly larger and therefore you determine as male. He shoos the two others away, then dives down at your head.
You ACK and back-up, falling into a sneaky portal that has opened just behind you. You manage to get a glimpse of a small egg that you nearly stepped on before you're whisked away.
