The portal drops you and zings away, leaving you to wander in this new meadow alone. You stand up and brush yourself off, annoyed the carelessness of the portal.
You don't go very far until you find a large brown creature with green membraned wings lounging in the grass. She eyes you with a bored manner.
"Hmmm...enjoying yourself?" the creature asks you with some smugness.
You don't quite know how to answer her query because you don't know if she's being sarcastic or sincere. You do, however, inquire what she is.
"I'm a C'bana of course. My name is Gloria and who are you?" You give the animal your name and she just nods.
Another C'bana, a younger one, bounces by. The adult smirks at the bouncing zebra-marked filly.
"Ah....there goes Saraik-Septs. I should probably see what she's up to now..."
And she does get up and follow the path of the filly, leaving you alone. You mutter and turn around, stalking back to the area where the portal dropped you. You manage to catch a glimpse of a larger C'bana who disappears into the brush almost as soon as you lay eyes on him.
You grow very frustrated at the lack of interest these C'bana show in you so you move to find the portal so you can leave but you find your path blocked by a JadeEye-like c'bana. She :D's at you.
"Who are you? A traveler?" she askes politely, head tilted slightly. You nod. The mare ooohs and introduces herself to you as "Jayde", then tilts her head further. "Lookin' for the portal?" She points a paw to the left, where you see the portal whirling placidly. You ^_^; and thank her. Jayde grins brightly, nodding briefly before padding off into the brush, humming something odd. o.O;
