The portal drops you into the grass and hovers just out of reach. A trio of cat/horse things hop over to you, making odd noises...somewhere between a meow and a whinny. The first is a green maned female with a blanket of pink on her hindquarters.
The other two are males from what you can see. One is small with blue face and legs while the other is very large with swirls of green and blue. They both stare at you, not moving any closer. The large male makes a snorting noise and the female moves away from you.
The trio melt into the surrounding brush, leaving you all alone.
