The portal drops you onto the ground, then disappears, leaving you alone. Muttering, you stand and brush the grass from your clothes, then try and make your way through the waist high grass. As you walk, you can see a figure rising up from the grass a hundred or so yards from you.
The crystal mare stares at you from her spot, not moving except for her mane and tail moving in the wind. Another crystal walks up beside the mare. It's black coat is splattered with green dots that reflect the sunlight. The stallion snorts and moves in front of the female so you can't get a good view of her any longer.
The stallion glares at you, then turns his attention to another crystal that is approaching.
