The forest is thinner here than it was when you first took this path but it seems a lot darker. The path is easy enough to see since it's pure dirt, not a leaf or blade of grass on it. You don't get far before you come across a glowy-blue Kat that is walking across the path. He stops, hearing your approach.
"Oh, hello." He says cheerfully, turning in your direction. "Enjoying your walk?"
You nod and he grins.
"That is good. I was just getting ready to go and eat before I visited my daughter. I hope you don't mind us having such a short chat."
His muzzle is curved into an apologetic smile, his eyes flickering. You nod. "I'm Shoruu by the way. Hyou's my mate, if she didn't tell you that."
"Well, I'm gonna be off now. I hear there's a herd of deer down by the river so I'm going to head that way. Tell Niou I'll be there soon." He turns and disappears into the trees, leaving you to continue on the path.
